FORT SMITH, Ark. — Case goods resource Riverside Furniture has hired industry veteran Harrison Kelly as vice president of product development, a new position.
Kelly is responsible for leading all product line activities from the conceptual stage through market introduction and will work closely with strategic retail accounts to determine product needs, the company said in a release.
With more than 20 years of experience in wood furniture product development, Kelly most recently held the VP of product development post at Klaussner Home Furnishings, where he was responsible for all wood product development. Before that, he served in various positions at Home Meridian International, starting as an import engineer at its Pulaski brand and going on to hold roles such as vice president of club merchandising for Home Meridian and VP-product development and merchandising at Pulaski, a role he held for 14 years.
Kelly “brings experience and a proven track record of success in the product development area, which will be invaluable in meeting our goals and objectives,” Riverside President John Iasiello said.

Kelly, who reports to Iasiello, will be based in the company’s new High Point showroom and product development center on Main Street. in High Point.
