HIGH POINT — When Hooker Furnishings unveils “Collected Living by HF” at the High Point Market, retailers will see the end result of the company’s goal of transforming its Legacy brands into whole-home, lifestyle solutions that bring together the best of Bradington-Young, Hooker Furniture, HF Custom, M, Sunset West and BOBO Intriguing Objects.
As part of the company’s vision, the brand says it is also poised to deliver a more consumer-centric approach.
Central to this new vision is the Al Fresco lifestyle, featuring two innovative vignettes, Al Fresco Coastal and Al Fresco Lakeside, showcasing an integrated blend of case goods, outdoor furnishings, upholstery and decor designed to evoke a sense of calm and sophistication.
All of the curated items that are part of Al Fresco will be on display in the company’s showroom on the third floor of Showplace in High Point.
“By pulling together the strengths of each of our divisions into coordinated, on-trend presentations with trend-forward design and color work, our goal is to make it simple and fun for our customers to solve design challenges through a more experiential and emotive presentation of our products,” said Caroline Hipple, chief creative officer for the company.
Hipple said the two new vignettes, Al Fresco Coastal and Al Fresco Lakeside, will showcase an integrated, curated blend of case goods, outdoor furnishings, upholstery and décor.
Products in Al Fresco Coastal feature natural textures like rope, driftwood and wicker combined with nautical touches.
Al Fresco Lakeside products feature bleached and natural oak finishes paired with pale wood tones like driftwood and sun-faded teak.
In addition to the new merchandising strategy, Hipple said the company is also enhancing its domestic custom upholstery offering with a new textile program featuring an assortment of 150 fabrics and 30 leathers available across the company’s Bradington-Young, HF Custom and M brands. Called the “Hooker Furnishings Domestic Upholstery Signature Collection,” the program streamlines the custom-upholstery buying and designing process by offering a unified fabric line across its three domestic upholstery brands.
