Shifman promotes 2 key sales leaders

NEWARK, N.J. — Luxury mattress producer Shifman Mattresses has promoted two of its key sales leaders.

Josh Suresky

The company has named Josh Suresky business development manager and has named Diana Genshock key account manager. Both report to Lisa Frey, Shifman’s national sales director.

Suresky, a 20-year mattress industry veteran, has been key account manager with the company the past five years. In his new role, he will continue to manage Shifman’s 35-year partnership with Bloomingdale’s, and also will use his industry expertise and his existing relationships to help drive revenues. He also will participate in strategic initiatives to bring on new retail partners to help achieve “strong and sustainable growth in the luxury market.”

“Josh has made great contributions to Shifman during his five years as key account manager through both his expertise and broad network in the mattress industry,” Frey said. “But perhaps his greatest strengths are his ability to connect with people, build relationships and his contagious positive energy, which will serve him well and drive success in this new role.”

Diana Genshock

Genshock has been with the company since mid-2021 as Southwest territory sales manager.

In her new role, she will be responsible for overall management of the company’s partnership with Macy’s. She also will help oversee account strategy, client relationships and communication and coordination with the Shifman territory sales team and also will continue to manage growth of the Southwest territory.

“Diana is fearless, curious and focused on aggressively growing Shifman’s presence in the Southwest market,” Frey said. “Her deep understanding of retail, specifically the luxury category, and her varied past experiences from outside the mattress industry enable her to bring a fresh perspective.”

Both newly promoted executives will be at the company’s showroom at the January Las Vegas Market in space C-1554 along with Frey and company President Bill Hammer.
