Regina Andrew Detroit partners with Southern Living on lighting collection

DETROIT, August 6, 2021—For more than 50 years, the Southern Living name has embodied gracious hospitality, and now, Regina Andrew Detroit joins the fold of Southern Living’s iconic brand with a new lighting collection bearing its name.

“James and I have family in the South, and we’ve always been a fan of the region, the homes and the traditions,” said Regina Andrew Detroit COO Carla Regina. “The collaboration with Southern Living allowed us to explore our designs through the lens of Southern culture.”

The Regina Andrew Detroit Collection for Southern Living launches in summer of 2021 with 24 pieces: chandeliers, table lamps, sconces, lanterns, pendants and flush mounts. In the tradition of the South’s appreciation for natural materials, the collection features wood, ceramic, glass, iron, linen and alabaster. More than 30 additional products will be added in the fall.

All the pieces in the Regina Andrew Detroit Collection for Southern Living are designed to capture the spirit of the venerable Southern brand and make the spaces they inhabit feel like home–comfortable and unpretentious with a generous dose of style.

“Southern Living celebrates the essence of life in the South,” said Southern Living Editor-in-chief Sid Evans.  “Our home stories offer a fresh, modern aesthetic that is always inviting, always welcoming. We are excited to bring our first-ever lighting collection to consumers who want the look of Southern Living for their own homes.”

Billie Concrete Pendant Large: Crafted from sturdy concrete, the large Billie pendant exudes a simplicity of charm that works in a rustic farmhouse just as well as in a modern penthouse. A distinctive, rough-hewn texture enhances the clean, flared silhouette, recommending the design to be suspended singly or in multiples over a kitchen island for maximum illumination.

Lorelei Wood Bead Chandelier: The Lorelei brings a serene look to a living room, breakfast nook or vaulted ceiling with cascades of gray distressed wooden beads draped gracefully in layers over a rattan-wrapped circular frame. This versatile chandelier is just as at home in a Southern-styled abode as it is in a seaside escape.

Trillium Buffet Lamp and Trillium Chandelier: Inspired by the trillium plant, which is found in both the Southern Appalachian Mountains and Regina Andrew’s home state of Michigan, the branches of the Trillium buffet lamp and chandelier are cast and gilded in a natural brass finish. The lamp is topped with a classic natural linen drum shade and matching cast brass finial, while two tiers of light illuminate the chandelier. When lit, the Trillium lamp and chandelier come alive as their gilded leaves bask in the warm glow from above.

Alice Porcelain Flower Table Lamp: Reminiscent of the lush gardens of the South, the non-glazed porcelain flowers on the Alice lamp emanate an air of sophistication and grace. The matte-white flowers are adhered to a ceramic body and topped with a white linen shade that completes the design.

Cape Lantern: With a sleek minimalist frame encasing a traditional candelabra, the Cape lantern captures the South’s marriage of history with modern sensibility. Available in rustic antique gold or blackened iron finish, the Cape makes a statement in a foyer, or as a pair in the living or dining room.
