Four design Tastemakers identify ‘The Next Golden Age of Design’ in IMC’s August Market Insights Webinar

ATLANTA / LAS VEGAS / HIGH POINT, N.C. – (August 4, 2021) – “What’s next in design?” International Market Centers (IMC) has tapped four design tastemakers — Martyn Lawrence Bullard, Timothy Corrigan, Alexa Hampton and Corey Damen Jenkins – to answer that question and more in its next Market Insights webinar “The Next Golden Age of Design” on Wednesday, August 11, 10:00am PDT/1:00pm EDT.

Martyn Lawrence Bullard, a Los Angeles-based interior designer, has been named as one of the world’s top 100 interior designers by Architectural Digest, featured in Elle Decor’s “A-List,” and named one of the top 25 designers by The Hollywood Reporter. He has starred in Bravo’s Million Dollar Decorators and is regularly featured in publications such as Departures, Harper’s Bazaar, House & Garden, House Beautiful, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Vogue, W and The Wall Street Journal. He was named 2020 Design Icon during Winter 2020 Las Vegas Market.

Timothy Corrigan, with offices in Los Angeles and Paris, has extensive experience designing interior spaces for older and historical properties as well as new construction. Corrigan’s work has appeared in more than 1,000 publications and he has been featured on many top designer lists including the 1stdibs 50, Architectural Digest’s AD100, Country & Town House’s The Finest 50 Interior Designers, the Elle Décor’s A-List, the Luxe Gold List and Robb Report’s Top 40. He has authored two best-selling design books and designed products for Fromental; Kyle Bunting; Patterson, Flynn & Martin; Perennials; Royal Limoges; Samuel & Sons; Schumacher and THG Paris. Corrigan has received honors from the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, the French Heritage Society and the Star of Design awards. He was named 2017 Design Icon during Winter 2017 Las Vegas Market.

Alexa Hampton is owner and president of iconic design firm Mark Hampton in New York, NY. Hampton is regularly named to Architectural Digest’s AD100 and House Beautiful’s Top Designer list as well as Elle Décor’s A-List with other accolades including Connecticut Cottage & Gardens’ Design Innovator Award, Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Female Award and the Circle of Excellence Award by the International Furnishing and Design Association. She sits on the board of trustees for the New York School of Interior Design and the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art. Hampton is a highly regarded author, publishing two design books and contributing to The Wall Street Journal and other design books. In addition to her design work, Hampton has designed products for Chesney’s, Eastern Accents, Generation Lighting, Globus Cork, Kravet, La Gallina Matta, SA Baxter, The Shade Store, Stark, Theodore Alexander, Visual Comfort & Co. and White River. She was named 2013 Design Icon during Winter 2013 Las Vegas Market.

Corey Damen Jenkins designs for a global client base from offices in New York, NY and Detroit, MI. His work has been featured in The Detroit News, House Beautiful, The New York Times, Traditional Home, Vanity Fair, The Wall Street Journal and more. Jenkins is the winner of HGTV’s competition series Showhouse Showdown and has appeared as a guest design expert on The Rachael Ray Show and Open House TV. His honors include Architectural Digest’s AD100 Elle Décor’s A-List, Traditional Home’s New Trad Rising Star of Design Award, Fashion Group International’s Night of Stars Award for Interior Design and the D&D Building’s Stars on The Rise Award. His charitable work includes designing the “Ladies Library” for the renowned Kips Bay Decorator Show House in support of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and longtime work with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. His debut coffee table book, Design Remix: A New Spin on Traditional Rooms was released in 2021.
