Cozey opening pop-up location in Chicago

Its new 5,345-square-foot store will open June 18 in city’s Gold Coast neighborhood

CHICAGO — Since late 2025, Canadian direct-to-consumer furniture retailer Cozey has been testing the U.S. market with pop-ups in New York City and Venice Beach, California. Following successful pop-ups in both cities, the brand is targeting the Midwest with a new retail experience in Chicago.

The brand’s newest North American pop-up store will open on June 18 in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. The 5,345-square-foot location will showcase a mix of Cozey’s products, including its signature modular seating, washable rugs, storage options and a new modular bed system.

According to a news release, Cozey said it continues to invest in storefronts that deepen customer engagement and complement its fast-growing e-commerce business.

In May, the retailer launched its e-commerce business in Australia. Chicago marks the latest milestone in the brand’s growing retail footprint, strengthening its click-and-mortar strategy.

“Opening in Chicago is an exciting next step for Cozey,” said Cozey CEO and founder Frédéric Aubé. “We’ve seen incredible momentum for the brand so far this year, and as we continue to scale, physical retail remains an important part of our growth and how we connect with customers. As with all our locations, we follow where the demand is, and so we’re very excited to bring the Cozey experience to the city and its residents.”

Cozey’s Chicago store is located at 220 901 N. Rush St. and will be open seven days a week.
