NEW YORK — Fabric resource Richloom has promoted industry veteran Stephanie Puckett to upholstery design director.
She fills a position previously held by Allison Hocker, who left the company last fall.

Puckett has been with the company since February 2022 as senior designer of imports. Before this, she was vice president of design at Nice Link Home Furnishings and before joining Nice Link was a senior designer at American Silk Mills.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a senior designer at Chatham Mills and Culp and also was a designer at Phillips Weaving Mills.
She reports to Nolan Mitchell, Richloom’s senior vice president of upholstery.
In a post on LinkedIn, Richloom said that upon joining the company, Puckett “quickly distinguished herself as a dynamic leader, excelling within the upholstery division while also fostering collaboration across various business units.” The post also noted that over the past 18 months she has primarily overseen product development in China.
In her new role, the company said, she “will lead both the import and domestic residential upholstery lines, working closely with the upholstery team to streamline our sales and design processes.”
