Description: Sunbrella is recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Specialist which will support Sunbrella’s exciting market entry into multiple lifestyle product categories. In this newly created role, the Sales & Marketing Specialist will primarily focus on sales and new customer acquisition in the specialty retail channel, as well as supporting regional and trade/designer accounts. As part of an entrepreneurial team, this role will also partner with our Lifestyle Marketing Manager on channel initiatives that drive retailer awareness of Sunbrella Lifestyle Products. This supports our strategy of building an omni-channel business and leverages the brand equity Sunbrella has created over many years.

This role is best suited to a self-starter who thrives in a growth-oriented environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive in. This candidate is proactive, and can manage a sales pipeline, develop relationships, and find efficiencies or ask “why” to make our sales process better. Above all, you will embody Glen Raven’s culture and confidently represent the Sunbrella brand as we expand our distribution footprint and make our way into consumer lifestyle products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4-6 years of experience in a sales organization
  • Results-driven behaviors with a consistent focus on getting things done routinely to plan
  • Proven and effective decision-making skills
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Solid communication skills both verbal and written
