TORONTO – Leading global furniture brand Sunpan marked its 20th anniversary of exhibiting at High Point Market this October. The milestone signals two decades of the company doing business in the United States, a move that established Sunpan as a trusted source for on-trend residential and commercial home furnishings.
“High Point Market has always been special because it was where we launched in the US market,” said Sundeep Bagga, president and chief executive officer of Sunpan. “The journey to get to where we are today is truly incredible, and I’m grateful to everyone that has visited and supported us throughout the years.”
Since debuting at High Point Market, Sunpan has grown its presence considerably. The company first showcased its goods in an 800 sq. ft. booth in Plaza Suites before occupying larger spaces in Suites at Market Square, and then at InterHall in the IHFC building. In 2014, the company relocated to a prominent 20,000 sq. ft. showroom at Showplace, which has since doubled to 40,000 sq. ft., making it the brand’s largest showroom to date.
“We are honored to celebrate Sunpan’s incredible milestone of 20 years with Andmore at High Point Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Andmore. “Their commitment to quality, innovation, and design excellence has made them a cornerstone in our community, inspiring buyers and shaping industry trends. As they continue to grow and evolve, we are excited to support their journey and look forward to what the future holds.”
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Sunpan hosted all-day hospitality events at its High Point showroom. These include complimentary breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a happy hour that visitors are invited to enjoy throughout the market.
Sunpan also commemorated its 20th High Point anniversary by unveiling stunning new designs across living, outdoor and dining categories that speak to the trends of organic curves and forms, mixed handcrafted materials, and a collection centered around Italian leather.
The launch of new designs in Italian leather emphasizes the company’s dedication to quality and sustainability. To highlight the expert craftsmanship of Italian leather products, a hide wall displaying Sunpan’s range of Italian leathers will be unveiled at the show. Market attendees are encouraged to experience the leathers displayed on the hide wall while browsing brand new contract-grade lounge chairs upholstered in this luxurious material.
