Lifestyle Enterprise develops modular Flexi Bed for youth bedroom segment

More than a dozen different configurations can be developed from 2-5 SKUs

HIGH POINT — Case goods and upholstery resource Lifestyle Enterprise is looking to reinvigorate its youth furniture segment this market with a new storage bed concept called the Flexi Bed.

The company describes this as a transformable storage captain bed that offers 13 different bed configurations that can be developed from two to five SKUs. It also comes in four color options, including white, gray, espresso and blue, and is available in twin and full sizes.

“The new Flexi bed was designed with growing families in mind,” said Derrick Ng, president of Lifestyle’s case goods division. “Its modular nature provides flexibility that adapts to the evolving needs of children and families.”

The company said that the twin and full sizes, which start at $99 and $125 retail respectively for the basic bed, make the SKU and related add-ons ideal for both small and large spaces. A patent-pending technology allows more than a dozen different configurations that feature a mix of drawer and trundle unit storage capability.

“The selling point is all about the storage,” Ng added, noting that it can be recreated in a dozen different ways with a small number of components.

The company added, “This innovative solution is perfect for families looking for functional and stylish furniture that adapts to a child’s lifestyle needs,” while also “offering both variety and personalization for any bedroom decor.”

Made in Vietnam, the Flexi Bed is expected to ship in January and hit retail in April 2025.

It can be seen at the Lifestyle showroom at 320 E. Commerce Ave.
