Lifestyle Enterprise expands mixable furniture program from Malaysia

Mixing initiative that began with bedrooms in mid-2022 now includes dining and occasional plus stationary and motion upholstery and chairs

HIGH POINT — Full-line furniture resource Lifestyle Enterprise has expanded its mixable furniture program beyond its core bedroom mix to include other major categories in the line.

The company began the mixing warehouse program out of Malaysia around the summer of 2022. Initially it shipped several popular bedrooms from a 100,000-square-foot operation in Muar.

This is the facility in Malaysia from which Lifestyle Enterprise is warehousing and shipping goods in its Total Home mixable furniture program.

It has expanded this into  its new Total Home mixable furniture program that now includes bedroom, dining and occasional furniture as well as motion and stationary upholstery and chairs. These categories will be shipped from a 200,000 square-foot operation that houses about $12 million in inventory for Lifestyle. Together, they can mix in one container, thus offering what the company refers to as a “cohesive and personalized assortment for retail floors.”

“The product offerings will have a customizable range of furniture pieces that cater to every style preference as well as price point offerings,” the company said, adding, “The substantial investment underscores Lifestyle Enterprise’s commitment to providing high-quality, readily available furniture solutions to our retail customers.”

The company noted that other key features of the program include:

+ Furniture made with high quality materials that help ensure durability and longevity

+ Quick-ship capability that will flow product from the dedicated warehouse in two weeks from the time of order

+ An extensive inventory that provides a wide selection of styles and designs

The company is debuting the program at the Shanghai Furniture Fair in September and will showcase it again with a full selection of the products available in the program at the October High Point Market.

“Our new “Total Home” mixable furniture program is designed to offer unparalleled flexibility and convenience to our customers,” said Michael Hsieh, chief executive officer of Lifestyle Enterprise. “We understand that every one of our retail customers is unique and our mixable furniture assortment will allow retailers to create personalized assortments that reflect their needs.”
