Description: Diamond is seeking a skilled IT professional to join its team as an IT Project Manager. This role will primarily focus on managing multiple IT projects, writing project plans and business case documents, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the manufacturing business environment. Additionally, the individual will provide general PC, networking, and server support to ensure smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, IT vendor management, excellent documentation abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems relevant to manufacturing businesses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable switching between writing project planning and documentation, providing hands-on technical support, and performing various IT tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in IT project management and documentation.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or similar industry is preferred.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) or Microsoft Certification such as Power Platform, 365 or Azure are a plus.
- Ability to work onsite and occasionally outside of regular business hours to support project deadlines and system maintenance activities.
