Description: This role will be responsible for buying the patio furniture, pottery and outdoor drcor (fountains and irons) categories as well as development and achievement of the category business goals. This role will oversee the management of the floor sets, inventory and warehouse processes including timely coordination and communication with the Visual team, Receiving team and Store Staff.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years previous buying experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, sales, financial and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of computer software: Excel, Word, POS systems; willingness to learn POS systems.
- Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and implement solutions, and to effectively lead the work of other managers.
- Local travel to Al’s store locations with possible travel domestically for markets.
