Eric Graham named CEO of Our House Designs

HILDEBRAN, N.C. — Industry veteran Eric Graham has been named CEO of upper-end upholstery manufacturer Our House Designs, a new position.

He comes to the company from Magnussen Home, where he was senior vice president. Before that, he was president of Jonathan Charles Fine Furniture and prior to joining Jonathan Charles, he was president of Fine Furniture Design.

Earlier in his career, he was a senior director at Century Furniture, where he worked for 13 and a half years. During that time, he managed the Century case goods segment and its leisure product line and was also senior manager of the Century leisure, office and entertainment lines. He also was product manager of the Century Elegance upholstery division.

His first two years with Century were as a sales representative covering the Pacific Northwest, Western Canada and Alaska.

He started his career in the industry as a buyer and assistant manager for retailer Ladlow’s Fine Furniture in Scottsdale, Arizona.

For Graham, the move to Our House Designs marks a return to the upholstery segment of the business he was involved in earlier in his career.

Founded 36 years ago, the company produces its line in Hildebran, North Carolina, just west of Hickory.

In addition to sofas and sectionals, it manufacturers accent chairs, recliners, bar stools, ottomans and benches.

While much of the stationary and motion upholstery assortment is in leather, the company also produces fabric upholstery. Styles across the line range from traditional to contemporary.

“I am happy to be a part of a new opportunity where I get to return to my upper-end roots in upholstery,” he told Home News Now, adding that the company has a strong heritage in manufacturing quality furniture.
