by HIGH POINT — Erin K. Stone, a long-time executive with Hooker Furnishings and company division Home Meridian International, has been promoted to vice president of Samuel Lawrence Hospitality.
Part of the HMI Group that includes Samuel Lawrence and Pulaski Furniture as well as Prime Resources International, Samuel Lawrence Hospitality provides furniture for hotel and resort properties around the U.S.
Before starting her new role in December, she was vice president, relationship management operations at Hooker Furnishings. In that position, she led a team of 50 employees through a Relationship Management Operations restructuring project that included the integration of a new ERP system.
Before this, she worked for about seven and a half years at Home Meridian International, in a variety of roles including director, key accounts/hospitality sales operations, director of key accounts and senior sales account manager.
Before joining Home Meridian, she worked in operations and claims at JAB USA, running sales operations for agent and affiliate textile showrooms.
