Tempur Sealy International names Chris Caune Retail Edge Activation Manager

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Bedding manufacturer Tempur Sealy International has named Chris Caune Retail Edge Activation Manager.

Chris Caune

In this role, he will help oversee the company’s Retail Edge program that offers resources and solutions for retailers in areas such as Retail Sales Associate training, digital media, advertising messaging, in-store experience and product assortment.

The company launched the program in early 2019 following research with some 15,000 consumers over a two-year period that helped identify customer needs in the bedding realm.

Using that research, the program helps retailers provide a personalized experience for consumers, thus differentiating them from online retailers that don’t provide the same level of customer service.

Caune comes to the company from Dufresne Spencer Group, where he was regional bedding manager for about three years. Before that, he was CEO of Huntsville Wholesale Furniture d/b/a Ashley Homestore in Huntsville, Ala. for about 13 years.

For six years prior, he was a regional manager at Ethan Allen and before that was a district manager at Sports Authority for more than five years.
