by MONROE, Mich. — La-Z-Boy Inc. announced that it has completed the sale of its American Drew and Kincaid wholesale case goods businesses to Banner House (formerly Magnussen Home Furnishings, Inc.), a multi-branded portfolio of home furniture. In addition to American Drew and Kincaid, Banner House owns the Magnussen, Pulaski and SLF furniture brands.
La-Z-Boy said this development will allow it to focus on its core, vertically integrated North American upholstery business and drive its Century Vision strategy.
La-Z-Boy stores, Comfort Studios, and Branded Spaces will continue to offer case goods products to their consumers. The company noted that “These changes will enhance offerings in the future, opening up broader sourcing and driving efficiency in the process.”
