by ARCADIA, Wis. — Ashley Furniture has hired Ruff Thomas as vice president of sales for stationary upholstery and accessories for the East Coast region.
He comes to the company from upholstery resource Simmons Living, where he was vice president of sales. Before this, he was vice president of sales at upholstery resource Henglin Home.
Previously, he was president of sales for the domestic division of Lane Home Furnishings and before this, he was national sales manager at Lane.
Earlier in his career, he was a sales representative for key accounts at American Furniture Manufacturing for about 13 and a half years and before this he was a territory sales representative for Philip Morris USA.
