by ONTARIO, Calif. Parker House has appointed Bobby Jones as senior vice president of product development and international operations, bringing extensive experience across furniture retail, sales, merchandising and product development to the company’s leadership team.
In this role, Jones will lead Parker House’s product development and international operations, helping guide the company’s product strategy and support its continued growth in an evolving furniture marketplace.
Jones succeeds Roberta Woodard, who will continue to play an important role on the Parker House management team, contributing her extensive knowledge and experience in a more strategic capacity.
Bobby’s career in the furniture industry began at his family’s retail store, where he developed an early understanding of the business from the retailer’s perspective. He subsequently joined Klaussner Furniture in sales before transitioning into product development and merchandising. He later led sales and merchandising at Home Meridian, a division of Hooker Furniture, and most recently led Hooker Furniture’s upholstery division.
His broad industry experience, spanning retail, sales, merchandising and product development, brings a valuable perspective to Parker House as the company continues to strengthen its product offering and build lasting relationships with its retail partners.
