Wedel Co. will offer stationary and motion upholstery and sleepers featuring contemporary designs, premium fabrics and construction based on comfort and functionality
OKOLONA, Miss. — Upholstery manufacturer A&W Upholstery is launching Wedel Co., a new product division that the company said is designed to expand its product offering with new designs, materials and innovation.
The division is named after company founder and owner Craig Wedel and will feature stationary and motion upholstery groups along with sleepers and other seating with contemporary designs, premium fabrics and materials, along with construction that focuses on comfort and functionality, the company said.
“Wedel Company is the next step in the evolution of A&W Upholstery,” Wedel said. “We’re taking the experience we’ve developed through years of manufacturing upholstered furniture and applying it to products that are fresh, relevant and designed for what’s next.”
The company said that the launch also represents a “team-driven next chapter for the company,” with Executive Vice President Jon Marino leading growth, business development and sales and customer relationships and office manager Paige Earnest supporting day-to-day operations of the business.
“Together with Wedel, the team is focused on expanding A&W Upholstery’s capabilities, while maintaining the craftsmanship and values that have established the company.”
“This is about evolution,” Marino said. “We’re challenging ourselves to think differently about fabrics, silhouettes, comfort, motion, materials and functionality while giving our retail partners products that are exciting and relevant to today’s market.”
At market, the company shows in the Atrium on Main at 430 S. Main St. in High Point.
