Premarket sponsors group adds 4 new sponsors for fall event

As Rosh Hashana takes place the weekend before the event starts, organizers have also announced an updated schedule

HIGH POINT – The premarket sponsors group has announced four new sponsors for the fall premarket taking place in High Point this September. The group also detailed a special schedule for this fall because Rosh Hashana falls on the weekend leading up to premarket.

The newest exhibiting sponsor is Capel Rugs, while Banner House (formerly Magnussen Home) returns this fall after taking off one premarket while updating its showroom.

Banner House includes case goods resources Magnussen Home, Pulaski, SLF Furniture along with the recently acquired Kincaid and American Drew. The other nine exhibiting sponsors are: Aspenhome, Austin Group Furniture, Avalon Furniture, Bernhardt Furniture, Hooker Furnishings, Legacy Classic/Modern, Lineage Collections, Universal Furniture and Vaughan-Bassett Furniture/Artisan & Post.

The event sponsors also have added three new industry sponsors: Bread Financial, J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. and Furnituredealer.net. Bread Financial is the new sponsor of the Monday night dinner at the Grandover Resort, which is open to all dealers attending premarket.

J.B. Hunt is the sponsor of both the cocktail hour at the Monday night reception and also is the sponsor of all of the breakfasts during Premarket. Finally, Furnituredealer.net is an affiliate sponsor of premarket.

“Premarket has a lot of momentum with our many new sponsors,” said Doug Bassett, chairman of the premarket committee that plans the event. “We welcome back Banner House, and we are excited to have Capel Rugs as our newest exhibiting sponsor. We are also honored to have Bread Financial and J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. join us as industry sponsors and Furnituredealer.net as an affiliate sponsor. Together the support from these three industry leaders will allow us to enhance our breakfasts, the cocktail hour Monday night and the dinner itself.”

As Rosh Hashana falls on the weekend before the start of premarket showrooms will be open by appointment only Sunday afternoon, September 13th and Monday morning, Sept. 14, with the official opening of Premarket set at noon Monday.

Any dealers, sales representatives or members of management observing Rosh Hashana will not be asked to arrive in High Point before the official opening at noon Monday. Premarket also will be extended through the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 16 th to accommodate those arriving at the event later than usual.

Those wishing to shop Sunday afternoon or Monday morning are urged to make appointments with sponsor companies, who have committed to being open for early arrivers by Sunday at noon.

In addition, there are a limited number of rooms available at the Grandover Tuesday night, so dealer/guests are encouraged to allow those observing Rosh Hashana to have the right of first refusal for those rooms. The Monday night dinner will take place at its usual time, 6:00 pm at Grandover.
