Description:
The Vice President of Fleet Maintenance serves as the strategic and operational leader for Ashley Furniture’s enterprise-wide fleet maintenance operations. The role is responsible for developing and executing fleet maintenance strategy, preventive maintenance programs, asset lifecycle management, vendor partnerships, regulatory compliance, technology adoption, and cost optimization. The position works closely with Distribution, Transportation, Safety, Procurement, Finance, and executive leadership to improve fleet uptime, reduce total cost of ownership, extend asset life, and ensure safe and reliable delivery operations. The VP will also lead and develop fleet maintenance leadership and technical teams across the company’s network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in fleet maintenance, transportation operations, or other asset-intensive environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site maintenance operations for large, company-owned fleets.
- Strong strategic and operational leadership capabilities.
- Deep understanding of fleet maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and preventive maintenance systems.
- Strong financial acumen, including cost modeling, ROI analysis, and vendor negotiation.
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into clear business insights and decisions.
