Description: Jaipur Rugs is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to join its New York team. This is an all-round, hands-on role well-suited to an early-career professional who is eager to grow within the luxury interiors and lifestyle space. You will support business development, manage client relationships, assist with showroom operations, and help drive the brand’s commercial presence in the US market – working closely with and reporting directly to the VP of Sales.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of work experience in a interior designing, sales, client servicing, or business development role, ideally within luxury retail, premium home furnishings, interior design, or a related lifestyle category.
- A graduate of one of the top design, interior design, or business schools – such as Parsons School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Pratt Institute, FIT, or an equivalent institution – is strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence and polish to engage with discerning trade clients, designers, and architects.
