LENOIR, N.C. — Patrick Lanier has joined Bernhardt as vice president of sales for residential case goods. He reports to Neill Robinson, Bernhardt’s executive vice president and general manager of residential case goods. Lanier’s role will be to oversee the division’s sales efforts and strategy to grow revenue.
Lanier has 15 years of experience in the furniture business and was most recently vice president of sales, e-commerce and marketing for Liberty Furniture. He had a long career at Liberty where he also worked as a sales representative in the company co-founded by his grandfather.

“Patrick has a strong track record for building revenue and growth and we look forward to seeing his impact on Bernhardt’s residential sales. We’ve built an incredible leadership team in the case goods division, and I know Patrick will be a terrific addition,” Robinson said.
“Bernhardt is at heart a family company. Patrick has that experience with what it means to be part of a furniture family, which is so important,” said President and CEO Alex Bernhardt Jr. “More importantly, he also has the expertise, relationships and strong vision that we value in our Bernhardt team members. He’s already hitting the ground running and we look forward to working with him to grow our residential business.”
Lanier said, “I can’t overstate how excited I am about this opportunity. A company with roots going back to 1889 has earned its place in this industry. That kind of longevity is built on integrity, best in class product and people, and a relentless commitment to excellence. I’m genuinely eager to contribute to the next chapter of something truly special.”
