by MIAMI — The opening of the Lofty Design Expo being held here has been delayed by a day and the show will begin on Thursday March 27.
It also will run a day longer, through March 1, because of the new opening date.
Show organizers said the change was the result of issues with U.S. Customs, which delayed some exhibitors from being ready to show on the original opening date of Feb. 26.
The show is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center and will feature about 100 manufacturers of furniture, lighting, rugs, bedding, accessories and more, including about 65 from Turkey, as well as other countries such as Bangladesh and Brazil.
