by LAS VEGAS — The International Home Furnishings Representatives Association helped attendees kick off the Las
Vegas furniture market last month with a networking mixer on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The event, which was open to any sales representatives and retailers attending the market, was hosted by Cozzia USA, one of the event sponsors, at their showroom in B-1062.
Also helping IHFRA with the event was Andmore, AICO, FurnishNearMe.com and Furniture Of America.
The event, which drew some 100 attendees and included cocktails and food, gave them an opportunity to network, join IHFRA and contribute to a fundraising effort with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross which has been active in helping victims of the California wildfires.
In addition to supporting the event by holding it in its showroom, Cozzia USA also supported the event with a promotion called “Five-for-Five.”
In addition, to help boost IHFRA membership, Andy Bernstein, founder of FurnishNearMe.com, paid the first year’s IHFRA fees for the first 20 reps joining IHFRA for the first time.
IHFRA’s Executive Director Steve Allegrezza said “IHFRA wants to thank Andmore for sponsoring the cocktails and to thank AICO and Furniture Of America for sponsoring the food. The event was a great success, and we could not have done this without our sponsors.”
