Description: This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week in our NYC office. We are seeking a Sales and Merchandising Director with deep expertise in heated blankets and throws to spearhead our omni-channel growth. The ideal candidate will possess not only technical knowledge of heated products but also a proven track record of driving sales and navigating the decision-making processes of key retail buyers in the heated home textile category.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong familiarity with heated home textile products and sales.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in planning and developing sales for platforms such as Walmart, Target, Kohls and Macy’s demonstrating a clear understanding of the entire process and rules governing these accounts.
- Proven success and experience in the operation of heated blankets and throws
- Showcasing exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to generate substantial placements at key retailers.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration capabilities, ensuring effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
