Company says new space places it alongside lines that offer similar high style, customization and customer base
HIGH POINT — Luxury wood furniture resource Belle Meade Signature is moving to a new showroom for the fall High Point Market cycle.
The company will occupy about 5,600 square feet of space in 115 of 200 Steele, an anchor showroom building in the downtown design district. For the past three years, the company previously occupied a slightly larger space on the second floor of 117 N. Hamilton, also in the design district.
In its new space, it will be near other high-end furniture resources including Bracci, Kravet and Highland House, to name a few. The company said the move also will help it expose its line to more designers.
“This new location will help us surround ourselves with lines that also offer high design, customization and a similar customer base,” company President Michael Coward told Home News Now, adding that being on the first floor is a huge benefit. “This not only helps our clients locate us more easily, but our market set-up crew is thrilled at the ease of handling move in and move out.”
For years, the company has built a loyal following among designers and upper-end retailers alike thanks to its wide mix of bedroom, dining room and occasional furniture featuring fancy face veneers and mixed medial elements. The line also offers custom options that include wood finish, fabric, leather, nailhead trim and even artisan glass.
“Within the last year we have launched two new programs: complete customization and gaming/billiards,” Coward said. “The exposure we will receive at 200 Steele will help grow these new categories for Belle Meade Signature.”
He also noted that at the October market, the company will introduce several new bedroom and dining room pieces along with new finish options “that complement more earth tones.”
“We are very excited for our move and look forward to an amazing October market,” Coward said.
