by MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — Industry veteran Chad Silver has taken a new position as vice president of sales at motion upholstery resource Barcalounger.
He comes to the company from Liberty Furniture Industries, where he was most recently associate director of sales for nearly three years.
Before that, he was the company’s director of sales and general sales manager.
Before joining Liberty, he was vice president of sales at Riverside Furniture Corp. for about 12 and a half years.
He fills a role at Barcalounger previously held by industry veteran Jack Richardson, who earlier this year took a position as director of national sales at L&J.G. Stickley.
Barcalounger produces a line of motion upholstery that includes sofas, loveseats and chairs as well as lift chairs, sectionals and kids recliners.
