PICO RIVERA, Calif. — Full-line furniture manufacturer AICO/Amini Innovations Corp. recognized its top-performing sales professionals during the company’s annual sales awards banquet in Las Vegas in January.
Michael LaCorte, who has been representing AICO in New York for more than 12 years, received the highest honor, the “Sales Professional of the Year 2023.” To recognize his achievement, the company presented him a white-gold diamond ring.
“Michael LaCorte has demonstrated a level of commitment and professionalism that sets a standard for all of us to aspire to,” said AICO Chairman and CEO Michael Amini. “He has an attitude of excellence and a real passion for what he does.”
AICO President David Koehler presented the President’s Award for outstanding achievement to Chris Guseinov.
“This achievement is not just recognition of impressive sales volume, but a testament to hard work and dedication,” Koehler said. “Chris is a true professional who always strives to go above and beyond for our customers.”
The Spirit of Professionalism Award, given to the sales professional who most exemplifies professionalism in the management of their accounts, was presented to Luke Wolanski.
“Luke takes great pride in his preparation and presentation, and it truly reflects in his relationship with his customers,” Koehler said. “Beyond being a good salesman, Luke understands how important it is to do all he can to help our customers be successful.”
Also honored at the event were Van Smith with the 2023 Pioneer Award for new account development and Jon Essenberg as 2023 Rising Star.
“Each year we take time out to recognize and celebrate the achievements of this exemplary team of sales professionals,” Amini said. “Each of the professionals honored at this year’s celebration stood out for demonstrating true passion not only for the brand, but for their customers as well.”
