Description: Puffy is seeking a highly motivated Product Development Manager for its LA office in North Hollywood. The person in this role will be a Product Manager with expertise in physical product development. The role emphasizes the design, development, and management of Puffy’s furniture product lines, primarily mattresses and bedding.
Responsibilities include:
- Furniture Product Innovation: Spearhead the development of new physical products within mattresses and bedding, as well as optimize existing lines.
- Industry-Specific Market Research: Conduct targeted research focused on consumer preferences and trends in the mattress and bedding industry.
- Performance Metrics: Assess product performance through specific KPIs relevant to physical goods, such as customer reviews, return rates, and durability tests.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Material Science, or a field closely related to furniture design and manufacturing.
- Minimum of 5 years in physical product development, with a strong preference for experience in the mattress or furniture industry.
- Demonstrated capability in collecting and interpreting consumer feedback specific to retail products.
- Proficiency in industry-specific market research, data analysis relevant to physical products, and keen attention to detail.
- Must be already located in or willing to relocate to North Hollywood, California.
