Description: The Inventory Replenishment Director oversees, manages, and directs activities of the Purchasing managers. This position is responsible for planning and implementing the Purchasing strategies for finished goods as well as strategies for the purchasing of raw materials.
The person in this role will develop purchasing strategies to ensure inventory is available to meet customer demand. They will also maximize improvements to inventory to ensure the efficiency of warehouse space utilization while developing strategies to improve forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field required
- 5-7 years Supply Chain management roles, including supply chain planning, inventory management, international sourcing, and buying/procurement
- 3-5 years supervisory role/experience managing a team
