The RoomPlace celebrates relocation of its Algonquin store

ALGONQUIN, ILL. – Home News Now 125 Retailer The RoomPlace Furniture and Mattress store has moved from its former location here into a former Gander Mountain store.

The company converted the nearly 52,000-square-foot space at 1400 Randall Road into a furniture store and held a ribbon cutting in early December to celebrate the grand opening.

“Algonquin has been a strong market for us. We are excited to continue growing sales at the new store,” said Bruce Berman, chief executive officer at The RoomPlace. “Our new store design, along with our unique financing options makes it so easy to find stylish furniture for every budget.”

The new store is open from 10 a.m. to 9 .m. Monday through Saturday and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Based in Lombard, Illinois, The Room Place ranked number 61 on Home News Now’s inaugural HNN 125 ranking of furniture and bedding retailers, with 29 stores in the Chicago and Indianapolis metropolitan area. It also sells online, including through its digitally native Apt2b.com platform.
