by ISTANBUL, Turkey — Bedding manufacturers seeking to diversify their supply chain may find solutions at this autumn’s Mattress Supply Industry & Technology Fair.
The IBIA (International Bedding Industry Association) Expo 2022 is being held from Oct. 6-9 in roughly 120,000-square feet at the Istanbul Expo Center.
It is expected to feature more than 300 manufacturers of various bedding components ranging from bed cover fabric and fiber materials to mattress packaging machines and quilt machines to name several.
While most of the manufacturers and suppliers are from Turkey, there also are some exhibitors from India, Germany and China, said Nasif Akin, an industry consultant and sourcing expert who is providing marketing assistance for the show.
The event also aims to attract some 20,000 domestic and international buyers from 14 countries in Europe, Asia and North America.
IBIA Expo 2022 is supported by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and other local and national business organizations.
