Description: Conn’s is opening a new store in Kissimmee, Florida on April 27, 2022 and is searching for a department supervisor for furniture and mattress categories. The person in this role will be trained and employed at their nearest Conn’s location until the opening of our Kissimmee location.
The Department Supervisor works with the Assistant Store Managers and Store Manager to drive sales, communicate best practices, and lead a team of associates to deliver the best customer service possible.
They will be involved in coaching, mentoring, training and following up on daily tasks which are related to the department, and ensuring adequate floor coverage. They will also organize the workflow and ensure employees have a clear understanding of delegated tasks, job responsibilities, and role clarity.
Three to five years of previous retail experience is required, as is a high school diploma or GED.
