by Madison, WI. – February 17, 2022 – Bob’s Discount Furniture, one of the largest and fastest growing omni-channel furniture retailers in the country, today presented Operation Homefront with a check for $80,000 in their Madison, WI store. This donation marks the culmination of Bob’s 2021 fourth quarter Café Collections for a Cause program.
Bob’s Café Collections for a Cause program features a different nonprofit organization every quarter. Operation Homefront has been Bob’s fourth quarter organization since 2019. All donations collected in Bob’s Complimentary In-store Cafés from October 1 – December 31 are tallied and then sent to headquarters in Manchester, Connecticut where Bob’s provides a dollar-for-dollar match.
“We owe the success of this program to our customers,” said Todd Peter, Bob’s Regional Manager. “We can’t thank them enough for their generosity and support of Operation Homefront. The brave men and women who defend our country as part of America’s military forces are true heroes.”
Bob’s has also been an ongoing sponsor of Operation Homefront’s Holiday Meals for the Military program and has provided furniture donations to veterans and active military members within Operation Homefront’s network.
Operation Homefront’s mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so that they can thrive – not simply struggle to get by – in the communities they have worked so hard to protect.
Celebrating its twentieth year in 2022, Operation Homefront provides programs that offer relief through critical financial assistance and transitional housing programs; resiliency through permanent housing and caregiver support services; and recurring family support with programs and services throughout the year.
