MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. – The Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association has received a 2021 Positive Impact Award from the Mid-Atlantic Society for Association Executives (MASAE) in recognition of its contributions to children in need through its new foundation, JPMA Cares.
The MASAE presents the Positive Impact Award to organizations that have successfully launched a project or activity that has had a positive impact on the organization, its membership and the communities it serves.
JPMA launched JPMA Cares to help reduce barriers to the healthy development of babies and young children. The non-profit contributed more than 5,000 baby products valued at more than $200,000 for children in need, which were distributed across the U.S. on National Injury Prevention Day on Nov. 18.
Officials said the contributions helped trauma sites serve people in 25 economically challenged communities across the country, providing families in those areas the tools they need to make their homes and means of travel safer.
JPMA Cares also has helped to raise the visibility of National Injury Prevention Day and its effort to raise awareness of the need for injury prevention.
In 2016, the JPMA also received a Positive Impact Award for its Baby Safety Month Initiative.
