by WILSON, N.C. — Luxury furniture resource Sarreid Ltd. has promoted Steadman Lanier to vice president, marketing and social media, a new position.
She joined the company in 2018 as marketing manager a role she held for nearly eight years before being promoted to director of marketing and social media in January 2024.
Before joining Sarreid, she was owner of women’s contemporary clothing and accessories boutique Belle & Co. in Wilson, North Carolina.
In her new executive level position, she reports to Mickey Sharpe, vice president, design and creative at Sarreid.
“She has been promoted due to her outstanding work,” CEO Brad Cates told Home News Now, noting that her management of the company’s social media and marketing has helped generate new customers and business each week. “The message is resonating. And Steadman is very much our typical customer. She is from the fashion business and has a great eye and a great message. It was well-deserved promotion.”
He also praised her for her ability to multitask, which he believes is an essential skill for the small, but highly skilled team of associates at Sarreid.
“One of the great things about Steadman is that it doesn’t matter what we throw at her, she picks it up and handles it gracefully and professionally,” he noted. “With a team like ours that is intentionally as small as we are, we have to wear multiple hats.”
