A beautiful mix of jewel tones and classic neutrals with a play on fashionable prints that inspire a European couture flair are featured throughout. This market presentation salutes the importance of the comforting and inspired home, combining elements of texture and color that provide a calming sense of timelessness. “People are looking at their homes with a new awareness,” says Lillian August, “They are seeing them as forever spaces and finding a new spiritual value for their family in where they live.”
Our exciting new Iconics Collection includes 12 vintage and antique inspired pieces ranging in styles from the mid-century Italian modern Dean Smoked Mirror Dresser to the classic 18th century Oslo Biedermeier Chest. “For more than three decades our family has traveled the globe, personally collecting and buying antiques for our clients. In a world dominated by disposable and sameness of home furnishing products this collection reflects our passion for collecting and the desire to produce heirloom quality pieces that can be enjoyed for generations to come.” says Lillian August Co-Founder Dan Weiss.
For our Classics Collection, new casegoods introductions include the Chapman and Emerson series, as well as several eclectic multi-functional items. The Chapman cabinets are modern campaign interpretations that feature off-white leather door fronts and hardware with burnished brass accents against an antiqued rosewood veneer. The Emerson media console and buffet are elegant and versatile pieces that combine Chippendale and mid-century elements reminiscent of the Hollywood Regency period. For upholstery, we are introducing what is certain to be a new classic. The Jagger Sofa is a fully tufted modern interpretation of a Chesterfield design, which is at home in a speakeasy, as it is in an elegant country estate. In addition, we present the Adele Wing Bed, as a great master bedroom piece, which works as well in leather as it does in fabric.
Another new addition to the Lillian August Custom Programs is The Mix, a changeable tops occasional program. This innovative program includes three groups of mixed materials for cocktail, end and console bases. Combined with interchangeable tops that include Faux Vellum, Reverse Painted Glass (featuring Lillian August original art) and Eglomise Mirror – more top options will become available as this program expands in the future. The bases are made of industry leading premium materials which include hand forged iron, clear acrylic and a French oak veneer look that has been hand distressed.
Modern Living casegoods introductions for Fall include the Avery bedroom collection and Jasmine occasional group. Avery is constructed in Oak with a hand rubbed whitewash finish. The modern forms feature nickel accents and hardware, versatile enough to be in a Hamptons beach house, Malibu home or New York City loft. The Jasmine Collection has a hip Indochine vibe, and finished in an ebonized oak with antique brass accents. This collection features a versatile desk that incorporates built in shelving as part of its timeless and functional design.
The Modern Living Upholstery Collection presents a sumptuous scale of versatile new performance and quick ship fabrics that offer an array of lifestyle decorating points of view. The Bono Sectional is a relaxed deep-seated sectional designed for pure comfort with family living in mind. The new Gracie swivel chair, with softly tapered lines and mid back channels give a unique and rounded look. The Beckham swivel chair in chestnut suede has a sophisticated club chair feel while remaining modern and elevated in style. The new Spencer chair is offered in swivel, leg and skirted options, perfect for the customer who wants to customize this comfortable low-profile piece.
Lillian August Outdoor new introductions include 2 deep-seating groups, as well as several new occasional, dining and upholstered pieces. The seating group is an expansion of our popular Boca live edge wood dining table. It’s a loungey modern organic design, which incorporates a stained slab teak base combined with synthetic woven wicker, that can work both for indoors and outdoors. Malibu is a mixed-material design that combines teak with woven synthetic rattan and features an aged finish that looks strikingly natural.
The elevated style that Lillian August is known for is now available in the LA Express Program, answering the need for Quick Ship availability, with a vast collection of in-stock frames and fabrics. The custom, hand-made American craftsmanship for LA Express, offers the industry’s most extensive range of Quick Ship products. This program is now the most comprehensive line in the ten years of Lillian August for Hickory White history. For Fall 2021, we have added additional fabrics as well as bestselling pieces from the Lillian August Outdoor Collection.
