CHICAGO, Ill. – The 19th Annual Midwest Furniture Show will feature AI experts, several first-time exhibitors and a brand new venue this year.
The Midwest Furniture Show runs from September 21-23. This year the show will be held at the Midwest Conference Center, 401 W. Lake St, Northlake IL. 60164. This is the first year at the conference center.
Both Renaissance and B3 Cloud Conference are bringing their newest AI tools to the Show.
“In 1996, everyone was getting their systems computerized,” said Geoff Weed, current president of the Midwest Furniture Club and co-coordinator of the show. “In 2006, everyone needed to get their websites up and running, and 2016 was the year social media became a necessity. In 2026 AI has become the next necessity to compete. These companies will help retailers and representatives understand the tools available to them as we make our way in the new reality. It may be the most important part of the show.”
“Customer favorites, like MDA Rugs and Ashley Furniture, are returning to the Show. They have been with us from the start,” said Allen Landau, who has lead efforts to produce the Show for a decade. “We are also proud to announce that Coaster is showing for the first time ever.”

The show will kick-off Tuesday night with a Sneak Peak for dealers, from 5 pm to 8 pm. The show opens 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. A coffee bar will be available in the morning, a free lunch at noon and complimentary cocktail hour and awards celebration beginning at 5 pm. The show concludes on Thursday with a similar schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.
“Chicago has always been a special place for Coaster,” says Branch Manager Angela Garza. “Our warehouse and showroom is just down the road, but we are looking at a new opportunity to connect with our customers and bring the Las Vegas and High point specials to them. And we have some surprises ready for attendees!”
At Wednesday night’s cocktail hour, the Midwest Furniture Club will hold it’s 2nd Annual Awards ceremony recognizing regional retailers and manufacturing representatives for their business acumen and community contributions. Award winners will be announced shortly by the Midwest Furniture Club. During each lunch hour, the Club is sponsoring speakers who will address issues facing retailers today, particularly questions about AI.
The Midwest Furniture Show is a regional furniture, bedding and accessories show that is run by the Midwest Furniture Club, one of the largest IHFRA chapters in the United States. Each year the show attracts hundreds of retailers and designers from the Chicagoland and Upper Midwest markets.
There is still time to accommodate last-minute exhibitors. Anyone interested in attending or exhibiting can register at www.midwestfurnitureclub.com or contact Geoff Weed directly at 312.305.6421.
