Sold online, the units pose a tip-over and entrapment hazard that can harm children
WASHINGTON — The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission announced two recalls in early August for clothing storage units it says pose an entrapment and tip-over hazard to children.
The larger of these involves 2,050 Winston Porter and Seeday three-drawer, four-drawer and five-drawer chests sold online. There has been one report of a tip-over that resulted in the injury of a 3-year-old child.

Made in China, the three-drawer unit was sold on Amazon.com from February 2026 through June 2026 for about $110, and the four-drawer unit also was sold on Amazon.com from February 2026 through June 2026 for about $130.
The five-drawer unit was sold on Wayfair.com and Amazon.com from May 2025 through January 2026 for between $70 and $160.
The recall involves the Winston Porter and Seeday five-drawer chests and Seeday three-drawer chests and four-drawer chests. They come in a white or black finish. Each drawer has two black metal knobs.
The three-drawer units are 16.3 inches long, 30 inches wide and 33.5 inches tall. The four-drawer unit is 16.3 inches long, 29.5 inches wide and 34.6 inches tall, and the five-drawer unit is 16.3 inches long, 30 inches wide and 42 inches tall.
The three-drawer unit has model numbers DG-PB-0007 (white) or DG-PB-0013 (black) printed on the product packaging, and the four-drawer unit has model numbers DG-PB-0015 (white) or DG-PB-0016 (black) also printed on the product packaging. The five-drawer unit has model numbers DG-PB-0008 (white) or DG-PB-0014 (black) printed on the product packaging.
The agency has advised consumers to immediately stop using the items if they are not anchored to the wall and move them to an area that children can’t access.
To receive a full refund, consumers also have been instructed to contact Linyi Lingmoxuan and Seeday for instructions on how to identify affected units and dispose of them. They also will be asked to write the word recalled on the top and all sides of the dresser with a permanent marker and email a photo showing themselves disposing of the product to Winstonporterseedayrecall@outlook.com.
The second recall involves 150 Laziza dressers that were made in China and sold on Wayfair.com from March 2024 through April 2026 for about $870. No incidents or injuries had been reported as of the Aug. 6 reporting date.

The recall involves the Laziza-branded 3-in-1 wooden dressers sold in white, dark brown or light brown finishes. Weighing about 82 pounds, each unit has three drawers and is about 31.4 inches long, 15.4 inches wide and 31.9 inches high. Model number WE11E5080Wx3-W or WE11E5081Rx3-W and batch number SME2025112805 or SME2025102401 are printed on a label on the back of the unit.
The agency has advised consumers to stop using the recalled dressers immediately if they are not anchored to the wall and place them in an area that children cannot access. For a full refund, consumers will be asked to write the word “recalled” on the top and all sides of the dresser with a permanent marker and to submit a photo to lazizadresserrecall@s-homooi.com. Consumers should then dispose of the recalled product, the agency said.
