Show continues to focus on the supply side of the industry with manufcturing equipment, components, packaging materials and more
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This year’s Furniture Manufacturing Expo is set to not only take place in a new venue, but also new exhibitors and a full slate of educational offerings for visitors to the event.
The June 3-4 show continues to focus on the supply side of the business, with a mix of machinery and equipment, components, packaging materials and other services geared toward furniture manufacturers on the wood and upholstery side of the business.
However, it is taking place in a new venue this year, the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. In recent years, it had taken place at the Hickory Metro Convention Center.
The move aims to make it easier for attendees, ranging from designers, engineers and quality control managers to machine operators, plant managers and company executives to attend, as many already are flying into Charlotte from other parts of the country. Hickory is just over an hour drive north of Charlotte.

“Our move to Charlotte is the result of many discussions with our advisory board and target buyer attendees,” Stephanie Everett, COO and partner with event organizer Exposition Development Company told Home News Now. “Charlotte will make it easier for our target buyers from outside of the region to more easily travel to attend the show, while at the same time being just as easy for the attendees in the local region to attend. Charlotte will also give attendees and exhibitors a lot more hotel, dining, and entertainment options.”
She also noted that the venue “is much larger and gives us growth opportunities in the future that we didn’t have before.”
As with previous shows, the event will feature around 100 exhibitors, with some companies representing several brands, Everett noted. Among these are more than two dozen new exhibitors.
And while pre-registration numbers are down slightly because of challenges facing the industry, she noted that “We have terrific companies already registered with multiple executives… .This show has always been more niche and more of a buyer/quality focused show, so we focus on the buying power.”
The event also continues to feature an educational component, with several panels and presentations planned for June 3 and June 4.

Thus, Everett said the event continues to have relevance for an industry seeking timely and efficient solutions to benefit them and their customers.
“Furniture Manufacture Expo 2026 is the only trade show in the U.S. that focuses exclusively on complete needs of furniture manufacturers,” she said. “It creates a one-stop opportunity for furniture manufacturers and suppliers to come together in the heart of the furniture industry.”
