HICKORY, N.C. — Industry veteran Cindy Hall has joined upholstered furniture manufacturer Design Foundry as director of customer experience.

Hall began her new role this month, having previously been design and sales consultant at Southern Heritage Home.
In addition to running her own consulting business, she also was previously vice president of case goods merchandising and product development at Sherrill Furniture for about four and a half years and before this was creative director at Uttermost.
Before this, she was CEO of Forte Group and earlier in her career had spent more than 27 years at Hooker Furniture Corp. in roles that included vice president and director of merchandising, senior product manager, merchandising manager and import manager. She also worked for the company in customer service.
In a post announcing her new role on LinkedIn, she said she looks forward to bringing her industry skills in customer service and other areas to her new position.
“After many years in the furniture and design industry, I’m grateful for the opportunity to step into a role that brings together what I enjoy most — building relationships, collaborating across teams, solving problems and helping create a strong experience for customers and partners,” she said.
