by SELANGOR, Malaysia — Last month, Morphxt Sdn. Bhd. unveiled its newest Ashley showroom with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The 8,000-square-foot facility, at 649 Jln Ampang Utama 1/2, Tmn Ampang Utama, Ampang, Selangor, marks a significant retail addition to the local community.
Distinguished guests, including Yu Kong Cing, chief executive officer of Fella Group; John Wong, director of Fella Group; Jason Tan, director of Fella Group, and Jason Lee, vice president of Asia Pacific of Ashley Furniture Industries, joined Morphxt employees in celebrating this milestone.
Morphxt Sdn. Bhd. owns four additional Ashley stores in the surrounding region. This is the seventh Ashley store in the country of Malaysia. The Ampang store will employ approximately three people. Ashley, the largest furniture store brand in North America and one of the world’s bestselling home furnishing brands, serves over 75 countries across the world.

Customers can explore complete styles and looks with detailed lighting, rugs and wall art. Product offerings include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Customers can also experience Ashley’s new bedding gallery featuring Ashley Sleep and Nectar mattresses.
