by HIGH POINT — Industry marketing and business development specialist Jodi Brookshire has joined polyurethane foam manufacturer Carpenter Co. as commercial development manager for the fiber segment, a new position.
She comes to the company from full-line furniture resource Furniture of America, where she had been corporate vice president of sales and marketing since the fall of 2022.
She was previously a regional sales manager at Furniture Today since 2013 and before that worked for major media companies across the U.S. in various sales management positions.
In her new position, the company said, Brookshire will work alongside Justin Chandler, regional sales manager.
“We are thrilled to have Jodi join our team,” said Michael Faus, senior vice president. “Her sales expertise and the vast network she brings to the company will play a key role in helping to further develop our fiber business.”
Brookshire said she is eager to take this next step in her career.
“I am very excited to join such a remarkable company that has been serving the furniture and bedding industry for 75 years,” Brookshire said. “I am looking forward to contributing to the next chapter alongside the incredibly talented team at Carpenter Co.”
In addition to its role as a vertically integrated manufacturer of polyurethane foam, Carpenter also provides polyurethane chemical solutions, polyester fibers and insulation materials through a network of more than 70 production locations.
