In her new position, she will execute the overall vision for the company’s product lines and also help expand its motion upholstery program
ATLANTA — Full-line furniture resource Liberty Furniture Inds. has hired Jenni Jungers as vice president, product development.

She fills a role previously held by Tamara Evans, a 16-and-a-half-year company veteran who was promoted to executive vice president and more recently chief product officer.
Jungers comes to the company from Hooker Furnishings where she worked for the past four years, most recently as executive vice president, merchandising and before this, vice president, upholstery. Before joining Hooker Furnishings, she worked for Flexsteel for more than 26 years, including as director, product management and director, merchandising as well as in sales.
In her new role, the company said she reports to Tamara Evans and will be responsible for “leading product innovation, enhancing design strategies and executing the overall vision for Liberty’s product lines with an emphasis on growing the motion upholstery program.”
In addition, the company said, she will collaborate closely with “cross-functional teams to ensure Liberty continues to deliver high-quality, stylish and functional furniture that meets the evolving needs of consumers.”
“We are thrilled to have someone of Jenni’s caliber join the team,” Evans said.
