The Dreambeat loft bed being introduced at the fall High Point Market combines sound-reactive LED lighting, gaming, entertainment, study and storage in a loft-bed footprint
HIGH POINT — Lifestyle Enterprise is bringing immersive technology to its youth furniture segment with its new Dreambeat gaming loft bed.
Following on the heels of its immersive sound technology in its upholstery category, this brings an innovative approach to case goods, particularly in a segment where younger consumers often decide what furniture goes into their private rooms.
The Dreambeat loft-bed footprint is designed to address how young people live today by combining gaming, entertainment, study and storage into a single footprint.

For example, in addition to wardrobe storage and an elevated sleeping area, it has a built-in audio system and sound reactive RGB (red, green, blue) LED lighting that provide a wide spectrum of colors that change to the beat of music, “creating a dynamic futuristic atmosphere.”
The company said this built-in system is designed to enhance gaming, music and movie experiences by “creating an immersive entertainment environment without requiring additional speakers or taking up valuable desk space. … The technology transforms the loft bed from a traditional piece of youth furniture into an interactive environment that can change with the mood and activity.”
A gaming and study area below the sleep surface provides ample space for gaming monitors, computers and a work surface for homework and study.
All of this combined seeks to offer kids a place to play, work and relax while also enjoying immersive sound/lighting technology that takes the entire experience to another level.
“We wanted to take a traditional loft bed and completely rethink what it could become,” Derrick Ng, president of case goods at Lifestyle Enterprise, said of the B805 configuration. “The Dreambeat loft bed takes furniture and combines it with technology to create an environment that reflects how today’s young consumers actually live. It is a bed, a gaming station, an entertainment center, a study area, and a storage solution — all in one.”
Retailing at $699, it comes in black and white finishes. It also supports a full-sized mattress and features an integrated wardrobe that includes built-in space for hanging clothes along with shelf storage for books, gaming accessories, collectibles and other personal belongings.
“By incorporating storage directly into the loft design, the B805 helps keep the bedroom organized while making the most of every available inch of space,” the company said. “The result is a highly functional furniture solution that makes one bedroom area perform the job of several separate pieces of furniture.”
Lifestyle said that it also represents its “continued focus on developing furniture that responds to changing consumer lifestyles.”
“As technology becomes increasingly integrated into the everyday lives of young consumers, Lifestyle is bringing that same evolution into the furniture category — creating products that are not only functional and attractive but also interactive,” the company said.
The Dreambeat loft bed, along with other fall introductions, can be seen at the Lifestyle Enterprise showroom at 100 E. Green Drive.
