ARCADIA, Calif. — MotoMotion USA has named three new executives to its MotoSleep adjustable base division.

Rick Sterzer

Rick Sterzer has been named executive vice president of sales and marketing for the MotoSleep adjustable base division, and Kevin Osborne and Mike Vasko have been named vice presidents of sales. All are new positions with the company.

Osborne and Vasko report to Sterzer, and Sterzer reports to Jack Copley, president of MotoMotion.

Sterzer comes to the company from Casper, where he was vice president of retail partners and focused on building a team strategy for the retail channel business. Before this, he was executive vice president of sales and marketing at Rize Home, a division of Mantua Manufacturing.

He was previously senior vice president of sales at Serta Simmons Bedding and for more than 19 years prior, was in a variety of roles at Simmons Bedding Co., including vice president of regional and national sales; strategic account manager; vice president of regional sales and as a territory manager.

Kevin Osborne

Osborne comes to the company from Rize Home, where he was vice president of East Coast sales. Before this, he was vice president of national accounts at Serta Simmons Bedding and before this was senior vice president of regional sales at Simmons Bedding Co. At Simmons, he also was vice president of Southeast sales and vice president of corporate sales.

Mike Vasko

Vasko also comes to the company from Rize Home, where he was vice president of corporate sales and director of sales operations and product management. Before this, he worked at Serta Simmons Bedding for 16 and a half years in roles that included director, sales, Store Success; regional sales manager and key account manager.

In welcoming the executives to the team, Copley said, “We have always felt that Moto puts forward an innovative line of sleep products. We have lacked the sales and marketing experience this team brings to drive the category for Moto. We are excited to welcome Rick, Kevin and Mike to MotoSleep.”

Added Rick Sterzer, “The advantage of a vertically integrated company like MotoSleep is incredible. From top to bottom, MotoSleep is a true manufacturer of adjustable bases along with the components, not just an assembler of products. This is our secret sauce.”
