This launch marks a significant partnership, showcasing the collection across five esteemed Design Studio locations, beginning with the Irvine store, as a nod to Becki Owens’ Southern Californian roots and style.
On November 14th, a celebratory launch event took place at Mathis Design Studio at 13300 Jamboree Rd, Irvine, California. This event marks the unveiling of Becki Owens’ furniture collection in a retail space and Kuka Home’s first branded retail offering. Mathis has embraced the collection to bring Becki Owens’ signature California casual style to their stores.
Becki Owens Home perfectly blends coastal tranquility and modern simplicity and is centered around timeless design. The collection at Mathis Design Studio boasts a wide selection of upholstered pieces, including motion and stationary sofas and sectionals, dining chairs and upholstered beds, with plans to add accent seating on the horizon.
The event fostered a warm and inviting atmosphere with over a hundred guests in attendance, including Becki Owens’ friends, family and enthusiasts, Mathis customers, and management teams from Mathis Home and Kuka Home. Attendees enjoyed a memorable evening indulging in live music, drinks, hors d’oeuvres, branded giveaways, exclusive prizes, and a meet and greet with Becki.
Kaci Crane, Director of Mathis Design Center, hosted an immersive Q&A session with Becki Owens—delving into her inspiration, upcoming projects, and favorites within the collection. Becki shared, “I’m thrilled to launch Becki Owens Home in Southern California, right here close to home. Seeing my designs become more accessible through Mathis is a fulfillment of a long-held dream. Collaborating with Kuka Home and Mathis Design Studio has been a joy to bring this collection to life”.
