Dorel Home revamps High Point showroom to highlight innovations, 4 key interior design themes

MONTREAL, Canada – Dorel Home, a segment of Dorel Industries Inc., and leader in ready-to-assemble furnishings for the entire home, is refocusing its 30,000-square-foot High Point Market showroom this Fall Market on new innovations and four trending interior design themes—Grand Simplicity, Soft Minimalism, Vintage and Americana.

During Market week Dorel Home is showing innovative products like cabinet beds with tri-folding mattresses, outside-the-box bunk bed designs, and even new fireplaces driven by design upgrades and firebox ingenuity. Within upholstery the company is incorporating
performance fabrics on top-selling pieces, including a choice of green or ivory corduroy on the Novogratz Brittany Futon and a tan basket weave on the new Novogratz Tallulah Futon.

“Our upholstery business is all about innovation and pushing boundaries in design, comfort, and sustainability,” said celebrity designers Robert and Cortney Novogratz, who will be on hand to showcase a number of new products at the show. “We’ve got a new, exceptional
product development team at Dorel, and we’re absolutely thrilled by the forward-thinking energy they’re bringing to the table. Everyone’s laser-focused on making our furniture not only more affordable, but also incredibly comfortable, all while keeping style at the forefront. Expect to see a lot of vibrant colors and earthy tones that truly reflect what people are drawn to right now—it’s
all about creating spaces that feel alive and personal.”

Bringing the trend themes to life throughout the space will be the new Thornhill collection highlighting the bold, modern elements of Grand Simplicity with a television console, end table, coffee table and dressers. The Arbor collection exemplifies the natural and intricate details of Soft Minimalism with an accent cabinet and a fireplace, while the revamped Farmington collection offers bedroom staples like barn-door dressers and a wardrobe in classic Americana style. Reminiscent of 1970s décor, the Burl Block Collection exudes vintage style through the use of burl veneer and chunky designs.
